Child Safety Standards

1. Our Standard
We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor (anyone under 18 years old), consistent with applicable Kenyan law and internationally recognized child-safety standards. This standard applies regardless of whether the minor is real or depicted, and regardless of who uploads or requests the content.
2. What Is Prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited on the Service, with no exceptions:
- Uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any format
- Sexualized depictions, descriptions, or discussion of minors, including fictional or computer-generated content
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to solicit sexual content or contact from a minor
- Using the Service to arrange or facilitate an in-person meeting with a minor for sexual purposes
- Sharing personal information about a minor with the intent to sexualize, harass, or endanger them
- Any account created or used primarily to engage in the conduct above
We remove violating content and accounts as soon as we identify them, whether found through user reports or our own review, and we do not require the reporter to prove the material meets a legal definition before we act on it.
3. Reporting In-App
Every user can report CSAE directly from within the app, without needing to contact anyone first:
- On specific content — open the post, reel, story, or comment's options menu and choose Report, then select "Child sexual abuse or exploitation" as the reason. This routes straight to our moderation queue for priority review.
- On a user or a concern that isn't tied to one post — open the side menu → Child Safety, which lets you file a report describing what happened, and shows a direct email address for urgent cases.
These reports do not require you to be a registered account holder to be acted on if forwarded by a third party — but filing one in-app requires being logged in, since the app requires an account for all features. If you don't have the app or an account, use Section 4 instead.
4. Reporting Directly to Us
You can also report a CSAE concern directly, without going through the app, by emailing safety@campusbiasharaclub.com. Please include as much detail as you can — a link or username, screenshots, and a description of what you saw — so we can investigate quickly. You do not need to be the person affected to file a report.
5. How We Respond
Reports involving suspected CSAE are prioritized ahead of other moderation queues. When we confirm a violation, we remove the content immediately, permanently ban the account responsible, and preserve relevant records to support a law-enforcement referral. We do not notify the reported account that a CSAE report was filed against them before we've completed our review.
6. Cooperation With Law Enforcement
Where we identify apparent CSAM or an imminent risk to a child's safety, we report it to the relevant authorities, including Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate fully with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating these reports.
7. Age Requirements
The Service is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We require a date of birth at signup to confirm this minimum age — see Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for how we handle this.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our practices, or platform features. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
