1. The Golden Rule: Wash Cold & Inside Out

Whether it’s an Owners Club hoodie or a pair of 247 shorts, heat is the enemy.

• Temperature: Stick to a 30°C (86°F) or cold cycle. High heat breaks down the organic cotton fibers and causes the 480gsm jersey to lose its "boxy" structure.

• Inside Out: Always flip your garments. This protects the high-build screen prints (like the Owners Club logo) from friction and prevents the metal Cobrax poppers on the hood from scratching against the machine drum.

• Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe liquid detergent. Avoid bleach or "optical brighteners," which can strip the unique pigment-dyed hues (like Smoked Rose or Vintage Grey).

2. Drying: Never Tumble Dry

The tumble dryer is the fastest way to ruin a Represent piece. It causes shrinkage and can make the heavy loopback jersey feel "crispy" rather than soft.

• The "Flat Dry" Method: After washing, reshape the garment by hand while damp. Lay it flat on a drying rack or a clean towel.

• Avoid Hangers: Never hang a wet heavyweight hoodie on a wire hanger. The weight of the water in the 480gsm fabric will pull the shoulders out of shape, creating permanent "hanger bumps."

• No Direct Sunlight: Dry your clothes in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Direct UV rays will fade the specialized vintage washes the brand is known for.

3. Specialized Care by Line

The 247 Collection (Performance)

• Frequency: These are treated with antibacterial finishes, so you don't need to wash them after every light gym session.

• Fabric Softener: STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Fabric softeners clog the technical pores of the 247 4-way stretch fabric, destroying its moisture-wicking and quick-dry capabilities.

Represent Denim

• The Freeze Method: If your jeans aren't visibly dirty, place them in a bag and put them in the freezer for 24 hours to kill bacteria without stripping the indigo dye.

• Machine Wash: If you must wash them, use a cold, gentle cycle and remove them immediately to prevent "crease fading" lines.

Knitwear & Mohair

• Spot Clean Only: Represent’s heavy knits are delicate. Use a damp cloth for small stains.

• Pilling: It is natural for 100% cotton jersey to pill slightly over time. Use a dedicated fabric shaver once every six months to keep the surface smooth.

• The Signature Metal Bar: Ensure your metal bar logo is dried completely after washing to prevent any subtle water spotting on the surrounding fabric.

• Steaming vs. Ironing: Use a steamer rather than an iron. If you must iron, do it on the reverse side (inside out) and strictly avoid the printed logos, as the heat will melt the high-build ink.
